Lightroom Edits
In this photo I added sharpness to it and i lightened it because it was dark. I feel like this is my weakest photo because It isn't good quality as i took it far away.
In this Photo I made the sun white because I wanted to focus more on the sky!
In this photo i took out the color of the trees and sky to focus on that beautiful sun!
In this photo I made the surrounding trees B&W because I wanted to have the focus on the water!
I feel like this is my best picture I've taken so far and its definitely my favorite! I gave the photo a sharper look and focused on the sky the sun also made it look good!
In this photo I sharpened the image and made the shadows a little lighter.
Overall
I think I need to work on having a focus in my photos because a lot of them were busy and didn't really have a main subject. Next time will definitely be better!

My Name in objects
I had a hard time finding the letters a and m, I couldn't really find them in nature so i decided to use stuff in the school and i had to improvise with the fork and the milk carton. I think i got a 7/10 for legibility because you can read 3 out of 5 letters. I think my favorite part of this design is the black and white, its basic and nothing else was needed. I think I could have went outside longer to look because i feel like eventually i would have found something.
I like copyright because it helps protects the artist work and makes things fair. I will not use my watermarks because I want people to be able to use my pictures for whatever they want. I like my logo more because It more than just a "mateo rosas" it looks better.
Old Photos
In these photos I changed the contrast and the shadows to make it more "Modern" After that i used the sharpness tool to make it less blurry and obviously sharp, but i used the masking tool to fix the static of the picture and make it clearer. I think the biggest difference was the crop tool, it took out the surrounding paper and made it look more presentable. I did like this assignment because it was fast and easy.

In these photos I had to ask each and every one of these people if i could take their photo, but with each photo i needed to get creative on the angle and how I was going to take the picture. I think that my favorite picture is the group picture of me and the boys on the football field. The weakest is the one where the person is doing their own thing, a natural look, it was hard to take a picture like that.

My favorite one is the dog, i like to look that the filter made on the fur and the color on the fur made it look good as well. My least favorite was the one of Dallas, i could have edited it a bit better, i also dint choose a good filter so it didn't come out very good. I like editing like this because its creative.

I liked creating these pictures because they were fast and easy. My favorite one is the one with the keys over the lake, its clear, and it tells a story.
I enhanced the photo, i also wanted the focus to be more on the sky/grass, because well its the main part of the pictures. I also used the sponge tool on two of them for a unique black and white look, without making the picture look dull. My magazine doesn't look like a real one, because of the separate stories that you would read in the magazine, it also has that big bold title, with a separate claim. plus its worth $1 with a bar-code so i would say its authentic. I think my planets turned out okay... the editing on the seems could have been better but otherwise i think it looks very round and even, my favorite one is probably the one on the left because i did the editing a bit better than the one on the right, it just looks better.

Hey, i'm Mateo Rosas this is my photography page! I am a freshman at Bettendorf High School. I am involved in the Bettendorf Football, and Wrestling Program.
